On this private tour, you will be driven in complete comfort from Porto or Coimbra to the heart of the region, where you will have the opportunity to visit local producers, taste wines and sparkling wines, and enjoy one of the country’s most iconic dishes: Leitão da Bairrada. Unlike the more touristy regions, the Bairrada offers a more intimate and authentic atmosphere — ideal for those seeking a unique wine experience, away from the crowds. Everything is planned down to the last detail, with personalised service and a pace tailored to the client.
Itinerary
Pick-up at your hotel or accommodation in Porto or Coimbra at the agreed time.
Comfortable drive to the Bairrada region (approx. 1h to 1h30).
First stop at a selected winery or cellar, with the option to enjoy a guided visit and wine or sparkling tasting.
Second stop at a complementary producer, offering a different perspective of the region — either more traditional or more contemporary.
Lunch stop in the Mealhada area, with a recommendation to taste the traditional Bairrada roasted suckling pig.
Optional stop or free time in the region.
Return to the original location, with expected arrival in the late afternoon.
