  • Famous landmark

Torre de Hércules — UNESCO Roman lighthouse

A Coruña is at the top of Galicia — the Roman lighthouse (Torre de Hércules) still works, the seafront is one of the longest in Europe, and the city has a hardworking, lived-in feel. From Porto it is a four-hour drive, and from Santiago about an hour. This is a long-distance route. We do it regularly, but always quote upfront — the price depends on vehicle, season and whether you want a single one-way leg or a multi-stop Galicia loop.

What we run here

Almost everything we do to A Coruña is long-distance and tailor-made. Frequent requests: one-way comfort transfers from Porto for guests on a Galician road trip; cruise-day pickups at A Coruña port for a half-day in Santiago; and full Galicia loops over several days combining A Coruña, Santiago and Vigo with one driver throughout.

Worth seeing

Walk the Paseo Marítimo (one of the longest seaside promenades in Europe), visit the Torre de Hércules at the northern tip, and have lunch in the old town near Praza de María Pita.

Frequently asked

  • How long is the drive Porto → A Coruña?+

Around four hours each way. We schedule a comfort stop along the way and one driver throughout.

  • Is this safe to do as a same-day round trip from Porto?+

It can be — and we do it — but it is long. Most guests prefer to stay one night in Galicia and combine A Coruña with Santiago.

  • Why is the price not fixed online?+

It is a long-distance cross-border route. We quote upfront based on dates, vehicle and routing — typically within a few hours.

  • Can the same driver take us across Galicia?+

Yes — multi-day Galician routings with one driver are one of our most common A Coruña requests.

  • Cruise-day excursions from A Coruña?+

Yes — pickup at the cruise terminal, half-day in Santiago, return before undocking.
