Cruise port
Active, especially May–October
Vigo is a busy Atlantic port two hours north of Porto with one of the best seafood scenes in southern Europe and the ferry terminal for the Cíes Islands. It is also a frequent stop on cruise itineraries — many of our Vigo runs are timed to a docking ship. Like Santiago and A Coruña, Vigo is a cross-border long-distance route from Portugal. We quote upfront and the price includes tolls, border and vehicle.
Vigo in a day
Most guests come to Vigo for two reasons: seafood and the Cíes Islands. The seafood is in the Mercado da Pedra and the cluster of restaurants in the old town near Rúa Pescadería; the Cíes Islands are an hour by ferry and require a reservation in summer.
Cruise transfers
If you are docking in Vigo and want to use the day for Santiago de Compostela or even a half-day in Porto, we coordinate cruise-ship pickups and drop-offs to the minute. The price is quoted upfront based on the docking and undocking time.

Frequently asked
How long is the drive Porto → Vigo?+
About two hours each way, including the bridge crossing into Spain.
Do you do cruise-ship transfers?+
Yes — frequently. Pickup at the Vigo cruise terminal, day excursion to Santiago or Porto, drop-off before undocking.
Why is the price not fixed online?+
Cross-border long-distance routing varies with vehicle category, season and any return leg. We quote upfront — usually within a few hours.
Can you handle Cíes Islands logistics?+
We can drop you at the ferry pier and pick you up on return, but the ferry booking itself must be made directly with the ferry operator (seasonal and capacity-limited).
Multi-stop Galicia route?+
Yes — Vigo + Santiago + A Coruña is a common two- or three-day request with one driver throughout.
