Porto Calém Cellars was founded in 1859 by António Alves Cálem and, with an influx of more than 235 000 visitors per year , is the most visited cellar in Vila Nova de Gaia . Its location near the emblematic D. Luís I Bridge has also contributed for this large number of visitors.
